Relapse rate will be much higher if you get braces at late age. Most appropriate age would be till 21 years. Should go for other treatment options like as available in esthetic dentistry.

I am 35 years old. I am suffering from mouth ulcer for last 3 days. Please guide me.
Usually ulcer heals by itself only within 1 week. You can take 'Becosule capsule' once in a day for 1 week for faster recovery. Temporarily you can apply mucopain gel over ulcer for relief..

I am 57 years old male. My one tooth started shaking before 25 days. It was paining. After 2 to 3 days l pulled it out. Paining stooped. But after 15 days the gum pain started at the spot. I consulted a dentist. In x-ray a small broken tooth is remaining inside and there is infection. Doctor gave me antibiotics and pain killers and told me to remove the remaining tooth by operation. Is it necessary to remove the part of the tooth as there is no paining after completing the antibiotic course.

Is it safe to take B-Complex capsule in case of having mouth ulcer. What can be the best treatment for this.

MDS, BDS

Is it safe to take B-Complex capsule in case of having mouth ulcer.
What can be the best treatment for this.
It is safe but it can not be sole remedy. Sometimes we need to apply topical ointments also for faster healings. Moreover every ulcer has its etiology which first needs to be cared of. Without removing the source of ulcer it can not heal by just taking the b complex capsule.

Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. I have to remove one of my rear side tooth due to decay. On removing it, it was found that the tooth next to it has a small black spot on it. Do I need RCT. Please advise.

Post-Graduate Certificate in Endodontics
Dentist, Cuttack
A small black spot from above can also cause a big dig inside. If it is on superficial layer, only filling is advised. If it is deep, it might need a rct. To confirm, you need to go for a xray.

Kindly suggest fixed orthodontic treatment of 14 year old male who is diagnosed with lower anterior crowding and deep bite. I am considering the case fit for proximal slicing followed by correction of imbricated lower anteriors with Ni-ti wire. Kindly guide which brackets should I choose and what thickness of the wire should be preferred. Or what should be the best treatment line without extraction.

Hi, it seems you have done a thorough research. But to decide if extraction is required or not clinical examination+ model analysis+ cephalometric analysis are must. Type of braces can be chosen by the patient. Price increases as visibility of the braces decreases. I. E metal labial braces are least expensive and invisalign and lingual braces are most expensive.

If you are having bleeding gums it's most likely you have swelling in your gums and it's primarily when one has calculus / tartar deposits in gums. To cure it you need professional cleaning of teeth by a dentist

I have bad breath. Even though other brush and clean my mouth daily ? What should I do to remove this ?
bad breath develops due to deposition of plaque and calculus around teeth which causes gum infection. this is the initial stage and hence can be treated easily. visit a dentist for professional cleaning of your teeth. this will help in removal of these layers. follow the instructions given by the dentist after the procedure is done. meanwhile you can use antibiotic mouth rinses 2-3 times a day, brush your teeth twice a day, floss your teeth, along clean the tongue and rinse your mouth after every meal. maintain proper oral hygiene
