You need to go for thorough investigation and diagnosis to decide the treatment. Pain can be due to some conditions like cavities, tooth abcess, gum disease, and fracture of tooth. If cavity get filled or you may need rct. Depends upon condition of pulp. Brush regularly two times daily. Rinse your mouth after each meal.

I am having mild teeth pain since few days. And some time pain will not be there and some time it will be there.

BDS
Dentist, Delhi
I am having mild teeth pain since few days. And some time pain will not be there and some time it will be there.
The toothache you are suffering from may be due to a variety of causes, the most common being: 1. Tooth decay 2. Tooth fracture 3. A damaged filling 4. Infected gums the most common cause is a long-standing cavity or tooth decay, which usually requires a root canal treatment (rct). The same treatment applies to a tooth fracture as well. In case of a damaged filling, there may be two possibilities: either the filling can be removed and replaced with a new one after applying a soothing base material; or if the damaged filling is placed deep near the nerves of the tooth, it may require an rct. Infected gums usually are treated with deep cleaning/scaling after which there is permanent relief from pain.

You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. All toothpaste have nearly similar ingredients like Abrasives, Fluorides, Surfactants, Antibacterial agents, Flavourants, Remineralizers, Fluoride, Diethylene glycol, Triclosan etc. Only the wrong brushing technique that we follow harms our teeth and gums. So consult your dentist, learn proper brushing technique, Brush your teeth twice a day, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush to protect your teeth and gums from plaque and calculus. Floss your teeth inter dentally once a day. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months. Consume a healthy diet rich in vegetables and lean protein. Eating fruits is much better than drinking juices. Reduce your intake of sugary foods and beverages. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Drink plenty of fluoridated tap water. Drink not consume alcohol drinks. Don’t smoke.

Hello sir, there is akal daad growing in my mouth. Wht should I do its giving too much pain.

MDS - Orthodontics, BDS
Dentist, Jamshedpur
Hello sir, there is akal daad growing in my mouth. Wht should I do its giving too much pain.
Hello" akal daad" or wisdom teeth are notorious for causing pain and discomfort in most people. The most common cause for the problem is insufficient space in the jaws for the eruption of teeth. The tissue covering the tooth often gets inflamed due to trauma or poor oral hygiene and causes pain and difficulty in mouth opening. If your problem has persisted for more than six months I will advise you to visit an oral surgeon who will take an x ray and analyse its chances of eruption. If it looks unlikely that the tooth will erupt then it will be prudent to get it surgically removed. For the time being try to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing after every meal. All the best.

I have my tooth decaying inside and with cavity due to which I get severe pain when any food stuff get stuck to it.
Kindly get the depth of cavity checked by dentist and get an xray done to assess the depth of cavity. And if found deep. Kindly get a root canal treatment done. If not deep then a filling would suffice.

I am 21 years old male and have halitosis problem. What should I do?

BDS
Dentist,
I am 21 years old male and have halitosis problem. What should I do?
Halitosis can be due to various reasons. If you have bleeding gums or tartar accumulation on your teeth, a dental cleaning will help you overcome the problem. If you have any other issue like constipation or acidity or sinusitis etc, you need to get the root cause of the problem treated. In the meanwhile you can use any over the counter mouthwash and maintain a good oral hygiene by brushing twice daily which will reduce the bad smell to some extent.
