Sir/Madam, I am 23 years old. after car drive I have severe knee pain. What is the reason?
Knee pain As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason the knee goes for genu recurvatum which is nothing but backward bowing of legs. This can be prevented by wearing knee brace to support the knee from going backwards while you walk or climb stairs. Check with your haemoglobin levels and also with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician. Simple Knee ExerciesSpecific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. Due to vata dosha effect the pain often reoccurs. Avoid excess walk, heavy weight lift, long standing, cross leg sitting. Moderate oil massage with Balaswagandha lakshadi taila everyday strengthens muscle and relive the pain.

Hello. In ankle sprain the swelling should have progressed gradually. My advice would be to rest and don't exert much weight during the first week and do get a crepe bandage to wrap around your ankle. What this essentially will do is avoid movements at your ankle level giving it time to heal. So second week you can increase the usage of your leg. And third week can even stop using crepe bandage. Sprain generally depending on severity will take 2-4 weeks to heal. And ankle sprain might take longer because of constant use.

Knee Ligament laxity if you have problem in your legs then it might be due to ligament laxity where your legs would become very weak due to the old ligament injury and that should be treated immediately. Wear knee cap so that you will feel firm while walking or climbing stairs. This is a general strain and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try! One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain. You have to do knee strengthening exercises, ie. Knee rehabilitation exercises which will strengthen your knee. Exercises will give you permanent cure than the surgery. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal.

Hi, My Both foot are paining, numbness and feels like wet so what to do please suggest.

Get treated with Ultrasonic therapy which would directly heal the calcaneal spur (inflammation of the calcaneum bone) which causes the heel pain in majority of the cases. Along with ultrasonic therapy, shortwave diathermy also can be given. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area: Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the Plantar Fascitis weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. You shall do contrast bath to relieve this pain. Contrast bath is nothing but keeping in one tub hot water (bearable heat) and in another tub cold water.

Please suggest. I have a severe heel pain what is the best medicine or cure for this. I also have a cramp at my toes.
Heel pain or Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the band of tissue named plantar fascia that extends from the heel to the toes. In this condition, the fascia first becomes irritated and then inflamed, resulting in heel pain. Heel pain is a symptom if you are suffering from arthritis or any calcium deficiency. You should take a xray and complete blood check up for knowing the exact reason of pain Avoid going bare foot Do stretching exercises Putting an ice pack on your heel for 20 minutes several times a day helps reduce pain. Place a thin towel between the ice and your heel n do not apply ice directly to the skin If ice application didn't help go for contrast hot and cold bath. Cut down on extended physical activities to give your heel a rest Wearing supportive shoes that have good arch support and a slightly raised heel reduces stress on the plantar fascia. Reduce your weight Take 2-3 pieces of brick n heat it. Cover it with sterile cloth. Apply medicated oil on your sole and keep your foot on the brick till the heat get reduced.
