Hello lybrate-user. One of the main problems with gastritis is improper investigation and management. You should get a few important investigations like upper gi endoscopy and test for stomach infection .only after ruling out these. You have to go on medications otherwise like you many people will be taking life long medications instead of a permanenent cure.

Hello, just the mere presence of stone in gall bladder is not an indication for surgery. It depends wheather the patient is having pain due to stones or someother reason like gastritis etc. Only if the pain abdomen is due to stones in gall bladder it calls foe surgery. Usg abd is a good option to know if the gall bladder shows sogns of infection then its an indication for surgery. Hope this answer throwa some light.
