I'm suffering from serious hair fall. A proper male pattern of baldness can be clearly seen. Suggest me something except the minoxidil treatment. As I would not like to use that in my young age, and keep this for my 30's.

You can take Finasteride 1 mg tablets daily. I would suggest to have your Thyroid profile and Testosterone levels checked before you continue any treatment.

Can we use the lozivate 30 mg for alopecia areata and which is the best ointment for alopecia areata.

MBBS
General Physician,
Can we use the lozivate 30 mg for alopecia areata and which is the best ointment for alopecia areata.
Alopecia areata is of unknown cause but is believed to be an immunologic process. Typically, there are patches that are perfectly smooth and without scarring. Tiny hairs 2-3 mm in length, called "exclamation hairs;' may be seen. Telogen hairs are easily dislodged from the periphery of active lesions. The beard, brows, and lashes may be involved. Involvement may extend to all of the scalp hair (alopecia totalis) or to all scalp and body hair (alopecia universalis). Severe forms may be treated by systemic corticosteroid therapy, although recurrences follow discontinuation of therapy. Alopecia areata is occasionally associated with autoimmune disorders, including Hashimoto thyroiditis, pernicious anemia, Addison disease, and vitiligo. Additional comorbidities may include SLE, atopy, and mental health disease. Intralesional corticosteroids are frequently effective for alopecia areata. Triamcinolone acetonide in a concentration of 2.5-10 mg/mL is injected in aliquots of 0.1 mL at approximately 1-to 2-cm intervals, not exceeding a total dose of 30 mg per month for adults. Alopecia areata is usually self-limiting, with complete regrowth of hair in 80% of patients with focal disease. Some mild cases are resistant to treatment, as are the extensive totalis and universalis types. Support groups for patients with extensive alopecia areata are very beneficial. Yes, you can use Lozivate (Cloberasol) for Alopecia areata.

Yes, It is possible to remove the stone without surgery but the stone must be less than 10 mm in diameter. The cost of operation depends on the hospital, setting, procedure and expertise. I guess the minimum cost to remove a stone in Kolkata will be around 15000 rupees. It is better to approach a doctor in person and ask about the proper management and approach.

You should check for additional symptoms. Symptoms like cough and runny nose point to infection of the Respiratory tract. Burning sensation during micturation or subrapubic pain points to urinary tract infection. Any localised swelling or infection can lead to fever. If you have periods of unconsciousness or vertigo, the nervous system might be involved. The presense od abdominal pain ,diarrhoea, vomiting might be due to Gastroenteritis. Apart from this Fever with no major symptom might lead to a possibility of Dengue, Malaria, Typhoid, etc in India. It will be better to consult a doctor if your fever persists for more than 3 days.

There are many reasons for OCCIPITAL HEADACHE- Trauma to the back of the head Neck tension and/or tight neck muscles Osteoarthritis Tumors in the neck Cervical disc disease Infection Gout Diabetes Blood vessel inflammation I would recommend to consult a doctor for detailed history to make a diagnosis leading to proper intervention and treatment. Your description is not enough to ellicit a specific cause.
