Suffering with acute spinal pain. Unable to sit and stand without support of others

Research Course works @ pain lab, USA, Neuromuscular biomechanic lab, FSS, BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist,
For acute pain you need to take some anti inflammatory drugs with pain killers. Physiotherapy is the best choice, Interferential therapy and Ultra sound therapy for first few days. Later on you can add pelvic traction too.

Physiotherapist,
May be due to muscle spasm. You need to be on rest for couple of days, ice massage or hot packs will be helpful. Stop sitting or standing for long time. When you lie down on the bed keep changing your posture. If the pain still persists go and see a doctor or Physiotherapist. The information which you gave is not sufficient. You need to add your age, occupation, sex, duration of the pain, activities which increases and decreases the pain.
