I am having sores around one side of the angle of mouth. Near mustache and adjacent area. It is painful while opening mouth wider. It was scaly, but I scratched it off. Now the skin is peeling off.
For situations where many teeth are missing or damaged, full mouth rehabilitation will be necessary to restore the mouth to proper form and function.
The point of a full mouth reconstruction plan is to optimize the health of the entire mouth, including the teeth, the gums, and the bite. In many cases, it is necessary to replace or restore every tooth in the mouth using a combination of dental services.
Full mouth reconstructions combine esthetics with the science of restorative dentistry to improve the health, function, and beauty of the mouth.
Full oral rehabilitation is needed when: teeth have been lost, teeth have been injured or fractured, teeth have become worn as a result of acid-erosion or jaw pain is present due to bite problems
The treatments can include onlays, crowns, bridges, veneers, dental implants, and/or dentures that will essentially provide not only a" smile makeover but improved chewing efficiency for the patient. In some patients, other specialties - orthodontics may also be employed to facilitate the best possible outcome.
Regardless of the reason, full mouth rehabilitation requires careful planning and excellent execution by specialists. The treatment plan will be discussed depending on the clinical examinations, dental records of your mouth as intraoral and extra-oral photos, full dental models interpretations and x-rays.
