Here he is drinking and then rolling and then vomiting. He is not vomiting milk but it's like dahi. Dr. he suggested perinorm 8 drops thrice a day is it safe to give him perinorm as I have read a lot of side effect of perinorm. If not safe then kindly suggest me the substitute for d same.

This is a normal reflux. Curd like little regurgitation is common while stomach is being pressed. So nothing to worry. We don't prefer perinorm unless there is severe vomits. The signs you mentioned is just a regurgitation. That does not warrant therapy. Do proper burping post feeds. Keep head up position and demoralized prone position for long. Regards.

My twin babies was delivered after 34 week 2 days. Weight -1980 and 1860 gm. Doctor told this is underweight and hence need to be taken to special care (sucu) unit. Also I found they are giving two antibiotics - gestum and needlemycin. Is this correct treatment? Are not antibiotics harmful?

HI Sonali... because of low birth weight it is likely for them to catch infection easily.. thats why it is necessary to give antibiotics... yes they are harmful.... but not more than the infection... so for greater good it is necessary...
