Hi I am 34 year old and having back pain from last 2 months. Used few creams like move etc but there is no relief. My daily routine required lots of travelling hence most of the time I sit in office and while travelling as well. I had done ultrasound as well and its been confirmed the back muscles are slightly stretched which is causing regular pain. Please suggest me the medicine to get quick relief.
Trigeminal neuralgia is a chronic pain condition that affects the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from your face to your brain. If you have trigeminal neuralgia, even mild stimulation of your face - such as from brushing your teeth, eating food, drinking water or even touching on the face - may trigger a jolt of excruciating pain.
Trigeminal neuralgia symptoms may include one or more of these patterns:
Pain affecting one side of the face.
1) episodes of severe, shooting or jabbing pain that may feel like an electric
2) spontaneous attacks of pain or attacks triggered by things such
As touching the face, chewing, speaking and brushing teeth.
3) bouts of pain lasting from few seconds to minutes.
4) episodes of several attacks lasting days, weeks, months or longer
some people have periods when they experience no pain.
4) pain in areas supplied by the trigeminal nerve (nerve branches), including
The cheek, jaw, teeth, gums, lips, or less often the eye and forehead.
Causes of trigeminal neuralgia:
The pressure of a blood vessel on the trigeminal nerve.
Physical damage to the nerve caused by dental or surgical procedures,
Injury to the face or infections.
Over time, changes in the blood vessels of the brain can result in blood
Vessels rubbing against the trigeminal nerve root.
Trigeminal neuralgia can occur as a result of aging, or it can be related
To multiple sclerosis or a similar disorder, that damages the myelin sheath
Protecting certain nerves
Trigeminal neuralgia treatment
Trigeminal neuralgia treatment usually starts with medications. However, over time, some people with the disorder eventually stop responding to medications, or they experience unpleasant side effects. For those people, intervention is required.
Medications to lessen or block the pain signals sent to your brain are the most common initial treatment for trigeminal neuralgia.
2. Antispasmodic agents:
This procedure selectively destroys nerve fibres associated with pain. At livewell pain clinic we do this pain procedure very routinely. Our expert hands at lived well pain clinic do all procedure in few minutes and you will become pain free. We treat many numbers of patient every month.
This procedure can be done under local anesthesia. After giving local injection on the patient's cheek, doctor inserts radio frequency needle. Under constant ct scan guidance doctor guides needle in a proper direction.
Once the needle is at the proper position (on foramen ovale) on nerve we give radio frequency current for 2 to 3 minutes, which will destroy the selective sensory fibres of the trigeminal nerve.
This procedure will take around 30 minutes. Pain relief is usually immediate after the procedure. This procedure is safer than major surgical procedure and gives good pain relief as compared to surgery.

Our pain is the second-most-common problem which makes people seek medical advice. Injuries and illnesses are typical triggers of pain.
Another reason is age-related degeneration, and most cases seen by pain specialists fall in this category. Everyone experiences some degree of pain in day to day life.
And it is a human tendency to ignore the pain, till it takes some serious dimension and begins to interfere with one's daily routine like work or socializing with family and friends or when it doesn't let you sleep peacefully.
Experts say, this tendency of ignoring pain should be avoided as negligence at initial levels can make the pain chronic and more harmful. In fact, in many cases, the damage due to pain becomes irrevocable if it is ignored for too long.
Currently, millions of people worldwide suffer from chronic pain of varying degrees. Increasing aging population worldwide, growing number of surgical procedures being performed, changing lifestyles, increasing the incidence of cancer are some of the factors causes increasing number of patients.
