Fasting sugar is normal, pp is slightly impaired. Go on healthy diet and exercise. No need of medication at this moment.

Go on low uric acid diet. See doctor certain other drugs can also increase uric acid so that triggering medication can be stopped. If really he may require medication.

High fibre (plenty of vegetables, moderate fruit intake. Whole grains). Low fat and low carbohydrate diet.
